The right tube of the Učka Tunnel is 5062 meters long and was built as a single tunnel tube with two-way single-lane traffic. The Učka Tunnel was opened to traffic in 1981 and until the construction of the Mala Kapela and Sveti Rok tunnels, it was the longest road tunnel in Croatia. In the continuation of the Učka Tunnel itself, on the Istrian side, there are two shorter single-tube tunnels with two-way single-lane traffic.
These are the Zrinščak I Tunnel (200 m) and the Zrinščak II Tunnel (50 m). The reconstruction of the right tube is underway after the new (left) tube of the Učka Tunnel was opened to traffic.
In 2024, the construction of the second (left) tunnel tube was completed, with a length of 5634 meters, which runs approximately parallel to the existing one. The right and newly built left tunnel tubes are interconnected by cross passages for pedestrians, cross passages for vehicles, and cross passages for emergency vehicles.
After the reconstruction is complete, the Učka Tunnel will ultimately be a two-tube tunnel with one-way traffic in each tube, with two lanes in each direction.
All systems of both tunnel tubes will be integrated into a whole. Some of these systems are fire alarm, ventilation, dynamic traffic signalization, etc.
Tunnels Kamenice, Debeli Brijeg, Polakovica, Supava
SPLIT TUNNEL
Railway urban tunnel 1892 m long. The tunnel has one tunnel tube with double-track traffic. The reconstruction of the tunnel and the construction of a railway station within the tunnel are underway.
CTP Projekt was involved in the following projects:
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE RIVER BRAJDICA RAILWAY STATION AND THE BRAJDICA CONTAINER TERMINAL
The project was carried out in 3 stages:
CTP Projekt je izradio sljedeće projekte:
Section: KRIŽEVCI-KOPRIVNICA-STATE BORDER
The section Križevci – Koprivnica – state border (42.6 km) is an integral part of the main railway corridor line for international traffic M201 DG – Botovo – Dugo Selo on the corridor RH2 and is also part of the section Rijeka – Zagreb – Budapest on the Mediterranean corridor. The project carries out works on the extension of the second track and the reconstruction of the existing track from Križevci to the Hungarian border. It will be possible to reach train speeds of up to 160 km/h.
CTP Projekt was involved in the preparation of the Fire Protection Study (2014) for the section in question.
Section: HRVATSKI LESKOVAC-KARLOVAC
The section Hrvatski Leskovac – Karlovac (44.0 km) is an integral part of the main corridor railway line for international traffic M202 Zagreb GK – Rijeka on the corridor RH2 and is also part of the section Rijeka – Zagreb – Budapest on the Mediterranean corridor. With the implementation of the works, the section Hrvatski Leskovac – Karlovac will be enabled for the maximum permitted speed of 160 km/h.
The current single-track electrified line with the implementation of the project will become double-tracked. The competitiveness of the Port of Rijeka will also be increased by improving its transport connections with Central European markets. Also, the Project will contribute to the improvement of suburban transport in the cities of Zagreb and Karlovac.
CTP Projekt was involved in the following projects:
The Omiš bypass is part of the multimodal platform project of the Split agglomeration and one of the largest infrastructure facilities in the Split-Dalmatia County, with a total value of 90 million euros.
The projects for the construction of the Omiš bypass included the construction of new roads with a total length of 3.7 km, the construction of a new tunnel “Komorjak sjever” in the length of 600 m, the Omiš tunnel with a length of 1470 m, the Brzet tunnel in the length of 220 m, as well as the construction of a bridge over the Cetina River in the length of 225 meters.
The section is planned to continue towards Dugi Rat and to continue work on the Komorjak tunnel. The section continues with the Ljut 1 and Ljut 2 tunnels and the 852 m long Dugi Rat tunnel. Until the construction of the DC8 Stobreč – Dugi Rat – Omiš state road section, the “Komorjak sjever” tunnel branch will be in operation, until the subsection from km 15+800 to km 17+005.50 is built, and until it is connected to the DC8 state road, thus creating a traffic unit.
After the subsection from km 15+800 to km 17+005.50 is opened to traffic, the “Komorjak sjever” tunnel branch, as well as the part of the state road to the DC70 state road, will no longer be in traffic function, but will serve exclusively for maintenance purposes, as an evacuation exit in case of incidents, and as a possible access route for firefighters.

The Mala Kapela tunnel is the longest road tunnel in Croatia, on the A1 motorway. It is located in the area between the villages of Jezerane and Modruš between the exit to Ogulin and Brinje on the A1 motorway.
The tunnel has two tubes that are spaced 25 meters apart. The tubes of this tunnel are of different lengths, one is 5780 meters long and the other is 5821 meters long. The western tube of the tunnel was opened to traffic on June 15, 2005.
The eastern tube was put into service on May 30, 2009. Both tunnel tubes are equipped with ventilation, full light and sign signalling, emergency exits, emergency stop extensions, and the tubes themselves are connected in several places by smaller passages in case one of the tubes is blocked, of these passages 6 are for vehicles and 14 are pedestrian.

The Sveti Rok Tunnel is a road tunnel in Lika, on the A1 motorway from Zagreb to Dubrovnik.
It is 5679 m long, or 5670 m (left and right tubes), passing through Velebit between the settlements of Sveti Rok (on the north side, after which it was named) and Maslenica (on the south side). The west tube of the tunnel was opened in 2003, while the east tube was opened on May 30, 2009.

The tunnel is 4248 m long, has a pavement of 7.7 m and a service tube on the west side 4255.62 m long. The tunnel is located on the route of the state road D76. It passes through Biokovo between the village of Bast in the municipality of Baška Voda (on the south side) and Rastovac in the municipality of Zagvozd (on the north side). It is named after the Biokovo peak of the same name, at the foot of which it is located.
It is the fourth longest tunnel in Croatia, but with an overlay of 1336.5 m, i.e. the height of the rocks from the tunnel tube to the top of the mountain, it is the first road tunnel in Europe in the karst massif. The construction of the tunnel began on March 25, 2008, on the north side. The tunnel was breached on January 21, 2010.

Corridor Vc is a multimodal (road and rail) transport corridor that connects Hungary, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the stretch Budapest – Osijek – Sarajevo – Ploče.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the highway on Corridor Vc from the northern border with the Republic of Croatia stretches in the following direction: Svilaj – Odžak – Modriča – Doboj – Zenica – Kakanj – Visoko – Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar – Čapljina – southern border with the Republic of Croatia, in the town of Bijača. Corridor Vc improves the connectivity of Bosnia and Herzegovina with neighboring countries and enhances the potential for economic development.
The project has the strong support of the FBiH Government, and it is expected that it will enable better integration of the country into European economic and social structures. The construction of the highway connecting Central Europe with the Adriatic Sea began with the construction of the Zenica-Sarajevo highway back in 1975.
