The Pelješac Bridge, with its length of 2,404 m, width of 21 m and projected two-way traffic on two roads with two lanes in each direction, is the largest and most complex such building in Croatia so far. The basic body of the bridge consists of a steel span structure that represents a box of trapezoidal cross-section. Due to the size and construction of the bridge, the need for fire protection of that area was imposed. For the needs of the client, Hrvatske ceste Ltd., CTP PROJEKT has contracted the preparation of the Fire protection elaborate for the interior of the span structure of the bridge, as well as fire alarm and emergency lighting projects in the same area.
