The office building of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development – HBOR at Strossmayerov trg 9 in Zagreb was heavily damaged in the March 2020 earthquake. It is a historical building, built in 1899 according to the project of the architect Šandor Aigner. The company CTP PROJEKT, together with its subcontractors, carried out the assessment of the existing state of installations and equipment in the building, as well as the assessment of construction solutions in terms of fire protection. On the basis of such an assessment, proposals were made for the reconstruction of the building in its entirety with an associated cost estimate. In preparing the relevant document, it was taken into account that the building is under the protection of the Institute for the Protection of Monuments as a category II cultural monument.
