We have successfully conducted fire tests on the Omiš and Komorjak Sjever tunnels, which are part of the State Road D8 Stobreč – Dugi Rat – Omiš, Section: Dugi Rat – Omiš. The Omiš tunnel has a total length of 1471 m with two evacuation exits, and the Komorjak north tunnel with one evacuation exit is 602 m long. The tunnels are designed as single-tubes with two-way traffic. These two tunnels are separated from each other by the Cetina Bridge.
The project will ultimately bring traffic relief in the city center of Omiš and reduce congestion during the summer and tourist season.
