Ruđer Bošković Airport is located in Čilipi, 22 kilometers from Dubrovnik. After Franjo Tuđman Airport and Split Airport, Dubrovnik Airport is the third busiest airport in Croatia. Traditionally, the most numerous Dubrovnik guests are from Great Britain and the USA, countries that are not members of the Schengen zone. Therefore, Dubrovnik Airport is carrying out infrastructure works in the arrivals area of the passenger terminal for passengers from non-Schengen destinations and third countries, as well as preparations for the introduction of the so-called EES (entry/exit system) system.

The company CTP PROJEKT d.o.o. contracted the creation of project documentation in the field of fire protection for the purposes of conceptual solutions for changes to buildings B and C of Dubrovnik Airport. The project documentation includes the creation of a fire safety study, numerical evacuation simulations and studies of smoke and heat drainage.
